there is no real French equivalent to "a problem shared is a problem halved". Some approaching proverbs are "deux têtes valent mieux qu'une" (two heads are better than one) or "de la discussion jaillit la lumière" (you are enlightened by the discussions you have)

What do you do if your stressed and can't sleep because your in fear that when you wake up you will still be trapped in a life you don't want to be living?

You should talk to someone, like a therapist, to get everything off your chest. Whats that saying? Its something like "a problem shared is a problem halved" or something like that. You could also write down all the problems you have, then write down how you can solve them. Also whiskey or brandy will help you sleep. Hope this helps!!

What does it mean when you dream of dark figure killing you?

The dark figure in your dream symbolizes your own fears and anxieties. The figure is vague because your fears are vague; you are anxious about your situation in general without really knowing what frightens you. The dream does not predict the future and it does not mean that any person or thing actually is threatening you. It only illustrates your current feeling.
