A cubit is too small a measure for the biblical Flood. Taken literally, the Flood would have risen kilometres above normal sea level, to cover the whole earth, including the highest mountains in Tibet. As the flood waters receded, The Ark supposedly landed on Mount Ararat, the highest peak in the Middle East.
When you read the book of psalms, you will understand that all the water from the flood and the preasures it creates with its weight, lowered some parts of the earth and lifted other parts making these the high peaks wich still grow very slow but daily. Psalms 104 explains how the 75 % area of the earth's surface is covered by water came from the flood.

The number 60 in the bible has several meanings, some of which are: the width and height of the temple of Jerusalem being 60 cubits; the gold statue was 60 cubits high, and St. Paul only accepted 60 year old females to the group of widows.
Probably 20 feet max, but it was destructive because contained in a very narrow valley. Friends of mine on holiday some miles away did not know it had happened, it was very local.
because water is being put into pipe which has air and the water that has replaced the air is on top of the air .
Deep enough to float your boat.
The water is estimated to have risen about 15 cubits high during the biblical flood described in the Book of Genesis.
Genesis 7:20: "Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. " This is mystifyingly ambiguous. Fifteen cubits could be seen by a native of Babylon as high enough to flood the whole earth, but it is certainly not enough to begin to cover Mt Ararat, which is over five kilometres high.
15 cubits is about 24.61 feet.
A flood can go as high as the land and water allow. There is no limit to the rise of flood waters because a flood is not a controlled event.

Noahs arc was a three hundred cubits, its breath fifty cubits and the height was thirty cubits. Depending on the exact length of the ancient "cubit," the ark was approximately 525 feet long, 87 feet wide and 52 feet tall.

Well, honey, I'm not Noah building an ark, but if we do the math, 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high would give you a space of 450,000 cubic cubits. So, if you need to store a whole bunch of animals or treasures, you're all set!
The cubic footage of Noah's Ark was 1.54 million. This is calculated using the dimensions provided in the Biblical account as follows. In Genesis 6 v 15 we read: 15And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. This relates to 459 by 75 by 44 feet, all based on the standard cubit of the day. === === See the Related Links for "Safety Investigation of Noah's Ark In a Seaway" to the left for an answer in regards to how the cubic footage was distributed to gain stability.
