Secular history confirms this. As far as the miracles in the bible most can not be proven today, but taken upon faith that the bible is also the word of God in truth.

A:The Tanach (Old Testament of the Bible) teaches the truth about the Jewish faith. This and the New Testament teaches the truth about the Christian faith. The Koran teaches the truth about the Islamic faith. The Vedas teach the truth about the Hindu faith. The Dao de Jing teaches the truth about the Taoist faith and so on. None of these is exclusive. Religion is man's attempt to reach out to God. But the Word of God clearly shows us His reaching out to His Creation. In each 'faith' there are fundamental statements of the truths as they understand them. A simple exercise would be to compare each and determine for yourself which stands.
