I'm only 12, but I have been through over 2 months of car buying. One thing that my parents, brother and I have never liked is a pushy sales man/woman. It's best just to let the customer not feel obligated to get the car. Plus, sometimes when you walk in the door and all of a sudden a sales person pops up out of what seems like no where, you feel like your being attacked. So, DON'T BE PUSHY!!!!!

I would start by being responsible and being able to pay car insurance. If you cannot be trustworthy and responsible then I would not allow you that kind of freedom either. Car insurance is a very large expense as well.
