I'm from Wyoming, and have spent many hours working horses. Like many such expressions that have become woven into the American cultural fabric, I believe the term "sidekick" derives from the "cowboy culture" so admired and romanticized by those who have never worked as one. Anyone who has ever spent time working cattle from horseback knows that, hundreds of times a day, you nudge (or "kick", for urgent maneuvers) your mount in the sides to steer this way or that, because your hands are busy elsewhere. You yourself become a "sidekicker". Working cattle is not for sissies, and cowboys sustain all kinds of minor injuries just in a normal day's work. You can get seriously injured or even killed if you aren't alert and working together as a team. Cowboys working cattle together learn to depend on the other "sidekicks" to help control and direct a herd. Your "sidekicks" become the people you work hard with, get to know and depend on, and develop special bonds based on trust.
It's sort of difficult to translate as it is idiomatic, but basically, it means something on the order of "Tsk, tsk, baby, what is it, my little lamb?"
A simple reset will cure whatever ails your Sidekick. To start, remove the battery and SIM card from your Sidekick. From there, flip the Sidekick open and hold the "R" key, then put the battery back in the Sidekick. Do not, however, insert the SIM card yet. At this point, the Sidekick should restart itself. Make sure not to let go of the "R" key until your Sidekick has restarted completely. Once your Sidekick has fully restarted, remove the battery, then re-insert it--along with the SIM card--and turn on your Sidekick. This should restore all your factory settings.
If you mean "make" as cell phone carrier, then the answer is T-mobile. Unfortunately, T-Mobile is the only carrier that sells any type of Sidekick cell phone. If you mean Geo Tracker, it seems to have been manufactured by Suzuki. Same as Suzuki Sidekick, Chev Tracker, Asuna Sunrunner, Pontiac Sunrunner. Just re-badging of the same product.
The Sidekick phone is traditionally 'locked', which means the phone can only be used by one specific carrier. Many people unlock their phones to allow use with the provider of their choosing. These phones are often sold on eBay.
what was your thoughts on the re-election of obama
Re-write it with a root. If the power of the expression is less than 1, for example x1/3, the expression could be rewritten as cube root of x.
Dear Sir or MadamRe your recent question about the spelling of re:- When 're' is used (when writing a letter) to mean 'regarding/concerning' or 'in the matter of', it is written as re .... or as Re.... (i.e. capitalized) if it is the first word of a heading or sentence. As the word 're' is an abbreviation of a Latin expression, earlier examples show the two letters followed by a full stop (i.e. 'Re.' or 're.'), indicating that it is an abbreviation, but modern usage generally now omits the full stop.Regards......
RE as in REply.
