Since litter means trash that is not in the trash can, guinea pigs don't tend to come from a "litter". Of course, if you find a guinea pig in a pile of litter you can always let me know.

I'm not quite sure but I think it's the same with male hampsters. When a female has her litter(for hampsters) you absolutly MUST keep the male away from the litter or he will start to eat the babies.
