∙ 11y agoNot really, a horses digestive system takes as little as a day and up to 3 days for certain foods to completely pass through the digestive system. What you can do is to provide free access turnout and ample water to allow them to naturally work the food through their systems. If the horse is showing signs of becoming Colicky then you should call a equine vet immediately.
