it could have eaten something sharp that would cut his/her stomach which would of coarse cause blood and make it cough up the blood
clots are NEVER good in blood. thrombolytics are used to break up blood clots in the bloodstream. if this doesnt answer your question then delete it and rephrase it.
If you swallow one when you are asleep it can get into your lungs and cause them to bleed which will make you cough up blood.
If there is blood in the lungs... well, we breath air from our lungs, we cough and what is in our lungs comes out. We usually cough due to something unknown being in our lungs and our lungs forcing it out. So, yes when we cough and there is blood in our lungs, blood will come out. Now if we are to breath in blood for some unknown stupid reason, we will cough it out. So yes, if there is internal bleeding in our lungs, we will cough up blood.
well, basically, you go into a coughing fit and then blood comes up. I guess..... but will someone tell me, does cyanide make you cough up blood?? (don't ask me... my brother wants to know cause in his book people cough up blood when poisoned.)
Blood does not make up connective tissue. Blood will coagulate and form clots though, but that is an entirely different story.
yes
it doesnt have to be a clot....
If blood is being passed with faeces it would be imperative to see a doctor about it, as this is the last place you want to end up having a serious infection.
The immune system has phagocytic cells called macrophages that eat up clots that result from tissue damage or allergic reactions. If these phagocytic cells are not doing there job then these clots do not get eaten up.
You kick 'em in the balls! >:)
This isn't normal - Corgis do not cough up blood unless they are sick. Potential causes of coughing up blood including bleeding stomach or esophageal ulcers, acute pneumonia, lodged foreign body or cancer in the upper respiratory or GI tract. Any of these causes would be reason to take your Corgi to a veterinarian immediately.
