If you're fat - and don't want to be - what you should be doing is to leat less calories.

And your average hamburger - once you're done adding dressing, cheese, bacon etc - has a truckload of calories. If you add a soda, maybe some French Fries or Onion Rings, it gets even worse.

For someone trying to lose weight, the hamburger alone can easily be all the calories you're allowed that day. And adding a side order will make any weight loss that day entirely impossible.

Makes it a difficult food choice for someone trying to lose weight.

It's possible to make a low-cal burger, but you need to know what and how much that goes into it.
