My 1 year old Chihuahua just gave birth 2 days ago, and she started having diarrhea about 24 hours later, and has continued having loose stools (but not bloody) 2-3 more times today. She has had a good appetite up until this afternoon, she has been eating a mixture of Akena and Puppy Chow, then 1 egg and 1/4 of a sweet potato in the evening. This evening when I tried to feed her the egg and sweet potato, she refused it and then threw up undigested puppy chow. I also noticed that she has lost a lot of weight. I called the Vet's emergency line, they said to bring her in. I want to wait until the morning because it is late and they are about 45 mins away from me. I just can't find myself going to bed without knowing what might be wrong with her. Can I get any advice.
