Shots protect dogs against many communicable diseases. I gave my puppy a shot last night to protect against 7 viruses, two of which are distemper and parvovirus. I had a dog once who had distemper (very contagious from strays) and watched my poor dog go from a happy healthy dog to a sunken eyed sick animal in just three days. There is no cure usually if your dog gets these diseases. This is why puppy shots are so important. They have immunity from their mother's milk until they're weaned, and then its important to get them immunized. They need another shot in a few weeks. If your puppy never had his shots, its never too late. I also lost a favorite pet from parvovirus. They get sunken in eyes and diarhhea. There is sometimes a cure but mostly they die from this. If you live in a neighborhood where there are a lot of stray dogs running around like we do, you need to get your dog their shots. Rabies vaccine is also very important. It is one disease that can spread to humans, and it is a very bad way to die. If a person gets bitten by an animal with rabies, they must undergo painful injections to keep from getting the disease.
You need to take them to the vets.
Yes, you do need to be licensed.
Because dogs, like humans are at risk for diseases unless they are vaccinated. It's the same scenario with the question: "Why give your child shots?"
It would be a good idea for your dogs shots to be done before she gets pregnant but just think though , Do dogs in the wild have shots before they have pups?
they need all of the same shots as othe dogs.
I would not mix him with other dogs, you can't tell where the other dogs have been or if they have had their shots. Dogs will sniff or lick feces etc. Get the shots.
They are nurses, thus they can give shots.
yes it is best to give the dogs there shots so it will prevent any long term problems. in most cases you should refer to a vet and get there advice.
it depends if your skin allergy can be be triggered by dogs... it would be best to consult a doctor first ... an allergist can give you shots to reduce your sensitivity to dander, but be aware, they're expensive and it takes a long time to complete enough shots to make a difference.
Yes mosquitoes give you shots on blood and they get it drawed
