Why do you cut a cocker spanials tail?

It may be because the dog's tail is too long and the owner wants it to look prettier if it was shorter so they cut it off or if there is a condition in the tail that it needs to be cut off and such

They don't cut their tails off cockapoos are born with it (its from the cocker spaniel part)

Because the rottwielers were used to be used to herd sheep and still are but the tail gets in the way so they cut it off
