Because us humans have bred them that way. Someone got a rabbit with floppy ears, thought it was cute, and decided to breed from it.

In the wild, floppy ears is no good. Reduces hearing sensitivity and increases the risk for ear infections, for both rabbits as well as floppy eared dogs. But as pets, it doesn't matter. They survive well enough anyhow.

rabbits keep turning there ears because there trying to hear around them. When they turn there ears there turn them to where sound waves are coming from. That's also why there ears are curved, so they can collect sound waves better.

they have big ears because rabbits eat grass witch makes them prey for a lot of predators so rabbits need to hear whats coming.

In hot regions the rabbits long ears aide in cooling them off. Rabbits don't sweat and if they are panting they are over heated. Their blood circulates thru the big veins in their ears and is cooled by the air. To aide in cooling down an over heated bunny apply cool compresses to their ears.

Why do rabbit keep turning their ears?

Rabbits are lagomorphs which means they have large back feet, gnawing teeth, and large ears. Since they have large ears, they can hear all the sounds around them. Whenever a rabbit hears a sound, his or her ears turn in that direction. It's their instinct. When all rabbits were wild, they depended on their sound catching ears! So coyotes or another predator could be detected before the coyote has some fast food!
