Why do my guinea pigs fight I have a fairly large cage one 6 week old girl and one 8 week old girl?

Guinea pigs are pack animals, they may be working out who is the alpha pig. If they dont stop fighting they might just not be compatable so you will have to separate them.
Not all guinea pigs will get along, just like not all people get along. My girls cage is always noisy and busy, they chatter 24 hours a day, whereas the boys are more quiet once they have worked out the pecking order.
