All horses have tails. To begin with anyway. Appaloosas have very sparse, wispy manes and tails and I have seen some with just a tail(bone) with no hair at all. On occasion due to injury or illness a horse may have part or all of his tail removed. Grays are prone to skin cancer on the dock (base of tail) and the skin under the tail. To save their lives some tails have to be removed.
It has been "bred out" of them by fusing genetics from other breeds--like Angus--to create cattle of this breed that are dominantly polled. The old Durham shorthorn breed--the heritage breed of Shorthorn cattle--still have horns, and some shorthorns still have the horn gene, but due to safety concerns and market demands Shorthorns are bred to be naturally polled, not horned, despite the breed name.
Horses don't have horns. Cattle, goats, and sheep have horns.
maybe.
Horses do not have horns.
flying horses with horns
No. goats are a different specie's.
No. They are a mythological creature first mentioned by the ancient Greeks.
You could remove the horn from your unicorn, remove the feathers from your pegasus, collect halos from your horses by using pandoras box, find horse shoes in horns of plenty, and you can find all the other ingredients with UFO's, in the flash sales, when your horses wake up on their birth day (max. 6 per day!), when they win competitions (max. 6 per day!), when your horses play with their companions (max. 3 per day!), the first time you log in, and finally, by opening horns of plenty!! good luck to everyone!! yes of corse there are. if we date back to the cavemen there were signs of horses with small horns. some got rid of the horn ( and become horses) and some become smaller but grew 2 horns ( which are goats) so now you know :) btw i am not lieing scientists found genuine proof
They did. They went by the name Roman Cavalry saddle or Roman Military saddle. These saddles had 4 horns which helped to keep the rider secured during battle.
If he's hungry enough and comes across one absolutely to him its a big meal without the danger of horns like say an Elk
Only in fables - there is no evidence that there has ever been a flying unicorn. Greeks had myths of flying horses, although there were not generally depicted with horns.
Horses do not have horns (Unicorns are mythological creatures) are you thinking of cow horns (in which case no they do not have to be clipped), or perhaps horses hooves? If you are thinking of horses hooves, then the horn on these is the same as your fingernails and it grows slowly. In the natural state the horse will wear its hooves down by running but in domestication this may not happen and a farrier or blacksmith needs to come and file the hooves periodically. This is normally done when the horse is being fitted for new horseshoes. If the hooves are not kept filed (or worn down naturally) hey will grow to the point where the horse can no longer walk and this is very painful.
