If you are feeding a low quality food their bodies cannot absorb enough nutrients to actually fill them. Any food containing corn, wheat or soy--or their by-products should be avoided. By-products in general are fillers and do not provide much nutritional value. If your dog seems to always be hungry, try a high quality dog food such as Solid Gold, Natural Balance, Wellness or a food that you would find in the holistic area of your pet store. Buying high quality food also decreases the chance of you needing to worry about recalls. Any pet food available at a general grocery store should be avoided. As well as those produced outside of the USA or Canada. If you are already feeding a high quality food, try adding unsweetened pumpkin (the kind you use to make pumpkin pie) to their food.
