well your dog might be dead or it juststopped barking because your dog is satisfied.
No larynx, jaw shape is improper for speech and no lip/tongue coordination. Aside from the fact that dogs can not handle the conceptualizations humans can, so barking conveys some feelings or alarms, but is not as combinatorial rich as human speech.
