Cheetahs have spots because-like all animals-they need to blend in with their enviroments, thus having spots creates an illusion. Like in a forest if you look at the ground on a sunny day there is sploches of sunlight and sploches of shadow. The dappled effect, blends in with leaves, grass, surrounding scrubland.
to camoflauge them in tall grass
They have spots to help them camouflage behind the long grasses of Africa. This makes it easier for them to hunt their prey. If you got any questions, please ask me on samantha.xu@education.nsw.gov.au
Spots, dots or maybe even cheetah spots
They can have multiple, or even none! But really, it depends on the cheetah. The number of spots on a cheetah depends largely on the size of the cheetah. The bigger the animal, the more spots it has. Adult cheetahs usually have at least 100 or more spots.Do you want to hold down a cheetah and count its spots, otherwise, don't ask.
the cheetahs have huge spots
King cheetahs are cheetahs with genetically changed genes, so when they are born, their spots are all connected to form stripes. Regular cheetahs are just cheetah with normal spots.....no stripes.
