If you mean when they shake their heads and sometimes the food fall out of their mouth, it is their instinct to kill their prey. If they had real prey they would shake it to break its neck and then they would eat it. If this is not the case then perhaps they do not like the type of food. :)

feed it to your cat or throw it away DO NOT try to reheat it it will NOT taste good. (I talk from experience.)Actually, don't throw it away, because that will be wasting food. you could just throw it to some stray cats or dogs that live around so they will get some food too, or, if you want to try and eat it, you could, but just remember, DON'T WAST FOOD!

Do slugs eat cat food?

Yes they do! I used to wonder why there were slug slime trails across my kitchen floor every morning. Last night I got up in the middle of the night and stepped on one then found found 2 large slugs in one cat's bowl and another in the my other cat's food bowl. I won't be leaving my cat food out overnight anymore!

How long will cat food stay good without refrigeration?

If it is wet cat food, then it will last for around three hours at the most, although personally wet cat food should not really be left out that long. Dry food can be left out most of the day, but even this can become stale if left out too long. It is always best to throw away old kibble and replace with fresh every day.
