NO. They drink through their mouths
I think its because out in the desert the only food they can find is small hard clumps of dried grasses and thorns. Quite a lot of animals have tough mouths because they eat food like thorns (eg. Elephants, Giraffes) Hope that helps.
Pretty much like any other animal, they chew and swallow.

They drink water and probably eat grass. Camels are herbivores and since most camels are domesticated, they're fed dates, grass, wheat, and oats. In the natural environment, camels can eat dried leaves, seeds, and are adapted with thick, tough skin lining their mouths and are able to eat thorny twigs. Camels have been domesticated for use as beasts of burden. They're very strong and can travel long distances. They are used to carry loads of goods or people, and to pull carts of goods or people. They're also used as a source of milk for human consumption and for cheese making in places that they're plentiful.
It is very good at keeping camel mouths moist and lubricated. Camels can also 'spit' at people when people get too close or cosey with them.
Goats have a tough lining in their mouths called a hard palate that protects their mouths from accidental cuts. They also have a specialized digestive system that allows them to break down the thorns and fibers effectively without causing harm. Additionally, goats have a selective feeding behavior where they avoid the sharp thorns while eating the leaves of the bushes.
There probably is tough grasses but i know for sure that in the Sahara there are Acacia trees which locals use for gum to keep there mouths from getting dry.
Because goats are tough creatures. Cute too.
