A giraffe does make a sound, actually more of an odd mix of a beep and a grunt. they don't make this sound very often, or very loudly. they will also make a more distinct sound, sort of like a cat when they need food, when they are scarred or being attacked, or something like that.
I hope this answered your question!
oh and p.s.: whales aren't supposed to make any sounds; but they do! why/how?
-mind blower!-XD
Elephants are afraid of mice. Giraffes have blue tongues. Giraffes are silent.
Giraffes makes no sound at all, they are silent creatures.
•Giraffes are thought to be silent animals but they actually communicate with low grunt, moans and rumbles that are usually to low pitched for human ears to hear because they communicate using infrasound. Mother Giraffes sometimes use whistles to warn their calf's. plz tell me how to improve it if i can! :D
Yes, giraffes do have knees.
no never eat other Giraffes.
"Dumb" means that an animal (or person) is incapable of making sounds to communicate. Whilst giraffes are generally regarded as silent animals, they do make vocalisations in some situations, so they could not be regarded as "dumb". If the question refers to the intelligence level of giraffes: while they are not among the smartest of animals, they most certainly can learn and adapt their behaviour, which indicates that they are not stupid animals.
No. Giraffes are herbivores.
