Some whales have a lifespan similar to humans. Blue whales live over 80 years - Fin whales live about 85 years. The Bowhead whale is the longest living mammal. Some bowhead whales have been found with ivory spears lodged in their flesh from failed attempts by whalers 200 years ago.
