If labs could beat German Shepherds then the military and police would be using them instead. Can you imagine a 60 lb yellow lab running down a vicious criminal on the run or intimidating Al Quaida prisoners? Give me a break. A German Shepherd would tear a lab to pieces. Their jaws are twice the size with a far greater bite force and longer grip. Their bone structure is way heavier along with their general weight.
Hmm, a lab is strong, but gs's are fast and sharp, it'd be pretty even I think
It's illegal, I'm only answering this because someone has to answer it.
both dogs are used in the police force but mostly is the German sheperd pit bulls are strong powerfull dogs but their bite is weaker then a German sheperd and also Germany sheperd are and have been breed as a dog for the police force since the early 1900 i belive and in sports such as Schutzhund in which involed to make the dog stronger and faster so in the end they both can win but the German sheperd has a better chance in wining
German Shepherds tend to be larger dogs and would therefore have a greater ability to exert force. Dobermans tend to be slimmer dogs, and may be stronger pound-for-pound. The preference is to use Shepherds where there are other attributes sought, and Dobermans for purposes such as guard dogs where deterrence is the main idea. Dobermans have a reputation as unstoppable attack dogs, although some have been fully trained in police roles.
