You do not need to stud your Dog, it is something you may choose to do. Dogs do not need to reproduce or experience intercourse as their health or mental well-being will not suffer without it. However, if you do wish to put your Dog up for stud, you should wait until your Dog has matured at the age of 1 year. After this, providing he has had all his necessary health tests done and is certified as healthy, he can be studded as much as is required.

P.S. Before allowing your Dog to breed, make sure you have him tested for inherited conditions such as patella luxation and eye disorders.
