Only use a wormer that is licenced for use in dogs; those from the vets are the best, but if you do buy one from a pet shop make sure it kills tapeworms AND roundworms.
Caveat: Many "off-label" products are far less expensive but equally or more effective than wormers "approved for dogs". Know your worms? Several varieties can transfer from dogs to humans, the most common being pinworms. Pyrantel Pamoate Suspension (same drug/same bottle) is equally effective in dogs and humans, inexpensive, and available w/o prescription (I'm a 30+ year trainer).
For most owners, collect a fresh stool sample and have your Vet examine it at least annually when you take the dog in for vaccinations or when they seem nervous and are licking their behind more than usual, or if they exhibit a "dry" cough. If you have more than one dog, treat them all and keep their common areas clean, daily.
The exception is in the event of a persistent dry cough, have them tested for heartworm, rather than treating them all. The causative perisite is a different issue.
Ask your Vet, very clearly, about readily available, less expensive, alternatives to the meds recommended. They are the experts but have a vested interest in pushing particular products.
Yes you can give a 3 week old puppy milk. Because I have a 3 week old puppy and drinks it fine. So the answer is yes
It may have worms, you should let a vet have a look at it.
no because it is old enough to eat puppy food. so giving the puppy milk is unnecessary for it.
water
vets have a pill for less than 10.00 that kills all kinds of worms except heartworms which you can get preventative pills for ...
a puppy age is week old
And one week old puppy gets all its nutrients from the mother dog nursing. It's best to wait til their 4weeks old and can hold there heads up properly.
you can give a 10 week old puppy a bath BUT you have to lift their head above the water And also use a special mild puppy soap, and make sure the puppy is dried and kept warm after the bath. Human hair driers are a bad idea, they can be too hot for a dog.
Give it some food and watch it grow...!
. Get your puppy to the vet.
Take him to the vet. Blood in the urine can mean several things including worms or an infection.
Never give an animal human medicine unless a veterinarian prescribes it specifically. It can kill it. Ask a vet what to give the puppy.
