You should mostly check in the most hairy places on your animal, such as the neck, back, and underside. Another great place to check is near the animals tail; fleas love to hide in areas of dense fur, so be sure to comb these areas with a flea comb, if possible. Fleas are not easily seen by the naked human eye so using a flea comb is a quick and painless way to check your dog's coat for fleas.

All parts. When I was growing up, I saw fleas everywhere on my dog. They especially like warm furry areas, but I've seen fleas just about everywhere.
