acualy predators, know as carnivores eat other animals... carnivores are never on the bottom of the food chain, they are mostly on the top...... omnivores eat animals and plants so they are in the middle of the chain. most predators eat other predators or herbivores(plant eaters only) or omnivores... ex: tiger(carnivore, mouse(omnivore), insect(herbivore).
Even though Koalas live in trees, they have lots of predators they need to be careful of. They can't run fast and they have really no defense for fighting them off. Staying out of reach in the trees can help them have protection from many predators. However, others are able to follow them into the trees or to swoop down out of the sky to get them. The smaller a Koala is the more vulnerable they are to the different predators out there.
Some do like polar bears
They hunt seals.
Penguins interact with other animals when hunting for food. They hunt for krill and compete with other animals such as whales, seals and squid for krill.
generally they hunted seals, whales, arctic foxes, walrus and other things
No animal lives on the Antarctic continent, so there is/was nothing to hunt on land. The Southern Ocean is home to many kinds of whales and seals, and when hunting these animals was a way of life, whalers and other hunters pursued these animals in the ocean.
Seals hunt fish, in the water, all the time
No, in nature animals do not "favor" other animals.
Meat-eating animals that hunt and eat other animals are called carnivores.
Predators
They hunt birds and other bugs
Fish and seals, among other creatures :)
In the past five years alone, more than one million seals have been slaughtered in the commercial seal hunt in Canada. The actual number of seals killed is likely higher than that, though, because many seals are shot at and injured in the course of the hunt, and many of these animals slip into the water, where they die slowly and are not counted or recovered.
