∙ 12y agoA jersey cow has many differences from other breeds such as Holsteins and Brown Swiss. A jersey cow's milk has a lot higher butterfat content, which makes the milk richer in taste. The jersey breed also tends to be a smaller breed of animal. The milk yields are lower than a Holstein but the quality which so many milk buyers are looking for is better.
