Different breeds of cats look different in their own way. Siamese cats are a very special breed of cats. They look VERY different from other cats. Some cats look very out-of-the-ordinary, like white cats with ginger tails and paws. But some cats, like gray cats can be very common. Here is what sets a Siamese cat from the others:
Siamese cats usually have physical features such as long, thin bodies, bright blue eyes that no other cats can have, cream-colored fur, and dark brown tails, paws, and sometimes ears and faces.
But like before, all cats are different. Who knows, you might find a brownish colored cat. Maybe you'll find an orange cat with blue eyes. Who knows. Every cat is different in their own special way, because God created them that way.
There are several color variations of Siamese cats - seal (dark brown), chocolate (lighter seal), blue (gray), lilac (lighter blue) and flame (red) - plus cream, cinnamon, caramel and fawn. The body is lighter than their points (tail, ears, face, paws). They all have blue eyes, but the intensity of the blue will vary.
Kittens are born all white since the points are related to temperature and their color develops later. The body color of tubby Siamese cats looks more like their points because their fat insulates their skin from their body heat. Also, Siamese cats living in warm climates tend to have lighter body color than their cousins living in cold climates.
Then there are variations in the point patterns. Most points appear to be solid colors, but there are lynx/tabby points which are striped, and tortie points which are mottled.
The body structure of Siamese cats is split into two main categories: Traditional and Modern. The Traditional group has sub-groups and are closer to the original type - rounded faces and sturdier bodies. The Modern, aka Wedge, is a more extreme body type - longer narrower face, larger ears, slimmer elongated body.
The most common characteristics of a Siamese cat include features such as deep blue eyes, kinked tail, and a wedge shaped head. One of the most noticeable feature of a Siamese cat is probably its coat which comes in a variety of colors such as seal point, chocolate point, blue point, and lilac point.

It should look like this: Siamese Cat. It does need to be capitalized.
"The siamese cat purrs softly when stroked," combines these sentences. Alternately, you could say,"The cat is a siamese and purrs softly when stroked."
Some breeders say the Birman is closely related to the Siamese cat, it was probably because a stray Siamese cat fathered a few litters of kittens.
No, a regular cat will not be able to give birth to a full Siamese kitten. At best, the kittens will be half-Siamese if one of the parents was a full Siamese cat. I have a calico female that mated with my male Siamese and when she gave birth to four kittens that looked like Siamese and one was coloured black. However none of these kittens are full Siamese.
