There doesn't seem to be any distintion for wolves that are less dominant than the alpha male and female. The others are just part of the pack.
=======
Of course, you probaly know that both alphas are the rulers
below them are the betas, who sometimes rule the pack when the alphas are not there, or even lead small hunting groups if the pack splits. They are also the peacemakers of the pack
under the betas are the middle pack. They pretty much simply hang around without really a rank.
under them is the omega. They are the lowest ranking wolf. They get teased and picked on, snapped at with almost every move they make by the rest of the pack. Normally they tend to leave the pack and become lone wolves.
Normally it is weak, sick, and/or older wolves that hold this rank.
A female wolf is called a bitch. She-wolf can also be used.If the female is the head of the pack or the mate to the Alpha-male (male that is leader of the pack) she is called the Alpha-female.However, nowadays they are simply referred to as the breeding female and the breeding male. or the breeding pair.She-wolf or bitch. If she is the highest ranking female in her pack, she is called the dominant female. Usually, the dominant female is the breeding female. The dominant male and female are referred to as the dominant pair and if they are also reproducing, they are referred to as the breeding pair.Well there is not really a term for a Female wolf but they are offen called Shewolves or wolvess
Active wolf submission is when a wolf would flop onto their site, draw their claws in, and role onto their back, whining at the more dominant wolf, who would stand stiff legged and have hackles erect, as well as the odd snarl. The less dominant wolf would then touch snout with the dominant. If you need a wolf question answered, ask me.If you think you have a better definition to my question, itch I answered for others, please post.
The "Alpha Female"
A she-wolf is a female wolf. Wolves are social animals that typically live in packs with a dominant male and female pair known as the alpha male and alpha female.
A wolf can't just become dominant. Either they are submissive oir dominant. No matter how low they are, they always try to climb higher in the pack and challenge their position. Wolves seem to love being alpha.
A baby wolf is called either a wolf cub or a wolf pup
Well the Alpha Male and Female lead the pack together. It's just that one is more dominant than the other. In some cases a male is more dominant. In other cases a female is more dominant. It could go either way. In a wolf pack strength and speed are important. If you're stronger than another wolf your rank will be higher than others, but the main thing that determines the leader is the genes. There is a gene called the alphetic gene. This push's the wolf to become more dominant and more aggressive so that they are the leaders. This is why some wolves leave the pack to start another. So there is not just one wolf that leads. Both the Alpha's lead, just one is more dominant.
Hare-Less Wolf was created on 1958-02-01.
The lowest ranking wolf is called the omega wolf.
A male wolf in Latin is called a lupus. A female wolf in Latin is called a lupa (also known as a she-wolf).
They will get along only if your dog knows how to act submissive towards a pet wolf, and if your dog is not the same sex as that wolf. Otherwise, if the dog is acting dominant or approaches a wolf (even as a pet) in a dominant matter you could end up with a very dead dog in your hands. In most cases, though, the answer to this question is very likely a no.
The cast of Hare-Less Wolf - 1958 includes: June Foray as Mrs. Wolf
