Bats are the only flying mammals. They are quite diverse in habits and preferred habitats. They use sonar location to find their prey. They hang upside down, clinging to cracks in a cave, church belfry, or in tree branches. Some bats actually catch fish, snatching them from the water's surface. Other bats catch flying insects. There are also bats that only eat only fruit. Then don't forget the 'vampire bat!'

Bats and Chickens
A Dawn Bats adaptation is that they can hang on their feet for many hours and so the bats wont have to stay on the ground which would be bad because the dawn bat has other predators.
Volant adaptation refers to adaptations in animals that enable flight, such as having wings, lightweight skeletons, strong chest muscles, and efficient respiratory systems. These adaptations allow flying animals to stay aloft and maneuver effectively in the air.
Dolphins like bats and whales, have developed a adaptation called eco-location. This adaptation enables the dolphin to admit a sound, once the sound waves come into contact with the fish or object. The sounds bounce back, the dolphin then interprets how far the fish is by the strength and loudness of the noise.
Adaptation is not edible.
Behavioral adaptation
Yes. Echolocation is an adaptation by bats to nocturnal life style. In night eyes becomes almost useless so bats have adapted to themselves to locate the object, by producing sound and listening the echo of sound produced. They have a skin fold developed between thre fore limbs and hind limbs to fly like a bird. Though bat is amammal.
