∙ 15y agoHow about this intelligent one? What if your female dog was bleeding for six weeks and getting sick and all I did was write on the stupid internet for an anwswer...but wait, I have more- what if I come downstairs and she appears to have died - in pain. What should I do then? PERHAPS- SEEK EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT? HOW IDIOTIC A QUESTION. IF YOU REALLY HAVEN'T TAKEN HER TO A VET AFTER NEARLY 2 MONTHS OF HER LOSING BLOOD THEN YOU REALLY DON'T DESERVE TO OWN AN ANIMAL. NUFF SAID.

∙ 12y agoShe might be in heat. That means, ready to mate and have puppies. If you're sure that's not the reason, then take her to a vet fast!
where abouts have you been bleeding
my daughter has been on her normal period and then 2 weeks later again and it has been over 2 weeks that she has been bleeding. what could this possibly be? is it something to worry about?
No. Bleeding for almost 4 weeks is not normal under any circumstances.
you have had the IUD for 6yrs hardly ever bleed but now you have been bleeding for 2 weeks?
If she has never been spayed (fixed) she is most likely just menstruating (having a period). It is normal. But if she has been spayed and is bleeding, you should call a vet.
It is not uncommon for a dog's first heat cycle to last longer than usual, up to 3-4 weeks. However, if the bleeding is heavy or continues beyond 4 weeks, it is advisable to consult a veterinarian to rule out any underlying issues.
Bleeding for 2 weeks while on BCP is not normal. You most likely need to change your BCP brand to a different pill. Bleeding means you're not pregnant. Especially after bleeding for 2 weeks. See your Doctor hun.
