tell a vetenarian immediatly and he should be able to address the problem
Motrin should never be in a dog's blood in the first place....it is a human medicine which can make animals very ill. If your dog has ingested, or been given Motrin, take it to your Vet (or the local Emergency Vet) immediately.
If you need to give your dog any type home remedy pain med, it's better to give them, a LOW DOSE ASPIRIN such as BABY ASPIRIN. NOT MOTRIN.

The recommended dosage of Motrin (ibuprofen) for a dog is 5 mg to 10 mg per pound of body weight given every 12 hours. For a 25-pound dog, this would be 125 mg to 250 mg every 12 hours. However, ibuprofen should only be given to dogs under the guidance of a veterinarian as it can be toxic to them.
