That's an irrational fear, seeing tigers and giraffes don't live on the same continent...

Lions are the giraffes main natural enemy, but baby giraffes are in danger from many other animals.

No they're not. There have been reports and videos of a pride of lions actually hunting and taking down a giraffe not only because they can but because of hunger, just like with any kill they make. It's not uncommon for lions to hunt down and prey on animals much larger than themselves.
