Adult saber toothed cats did not have any predators. However, a vulnerable cub could have been killed and possibly eaten by a wolf, bear, or (although unlikely) another cat species such as a lion or cougar.

Saber-toothed tigers, or saber-toothed cats, did not have any predators. They were very powerful, and one of the greatest predators of that time period, like the tiger today. The only threat to them might have been to short-faced bear. Even wooly mammoths were not predators, but prey.

Adult saber toothed cats were apex predators; therefor they did not have any predators. However, saber toothed cat cubs, if left alone, were vulnerable to be preyed upon by many large carnivores, including, but not limited to, American lions and flat faced bears.
