Sumatran Tigers are high in the food chain. Only a couple things that would be considered predators - man would be the most likely, but there has been cases where elephants and rhinos have killed Tigers, when the Tiger has made an attempt to kill a young.
There is nothing biasically that eats sumatran tigers because they have no predators on sumatran island
Yes, some varieties of rhino live in tropical rainforests. The black and white rhinos live on the savanna in Africa. The Sumatran, Indian, and Javan rhinos all live in the tropical rainforests of southern Asia. The Javan and Sumatran are critically endangered.
HUMANS
Yes, the Sumatran rhino ("hairy rhino") does exist, but sadly, it is on the "critically endangered" list. In fact, it is the most endangered rhinoceros species. Poaching has caused the number of Sumatran rhinos to decrease by fifty percent over the last 20 years. Currently fewer than 100 Sumatran rhinos exist on the island of Sumatra, and only 10 animals remain in Malaysia.
No one really knows, but it is assumed that the Sumatran Rhinoceros has a lifespan similar to other rhinos, approximately 30-40 years.
There are five types of rhinos, the White, Black, Indian, Javan and Sumatran.
Sumatran rhinos strictly live on the ground. They cannot climb trees. The ground level of a rainforest is called the understory.
