They are a really big dolphin, that is black and white and it lives in all of the oceans. It eats almost everything, so its at the top of the aquatic food chain. Its also really cool and it is huge.

Orcas, or killer whales are called whales because they are big, just as all of the small cetaceans are frequently called dolphins, and the biggest true dolphins, orcas and pilot whales, are called whales. The terms "dolphin" and "whale" really are about size in popular usage.

Orcas are not confined to the Northern Hemisphere and have been found in all of the worlds oceans. They have even been seen as far up the Mississippi River as St. Louis.
