All pet rats are the same. They are all called fancy rats except for the Albino which is slightly smaller than the regular fancy rat. If you go to the pet store and see tanks that say small, medium, and large rat you should know that the small rats are simply babies and the large rat are older.
Will pet stores take a rat that is a mix between a dumbo rat and a fancy rat?
It depends on the pet store. They may if they sell both Dumbo, fancy and standard rats. They will likely put it in with the standard rats. This means it will likely be sold as a feeder.

In my experience as a pet store employee the vast majority of rats and mice that are bred and sold go as feeder animals for reptiles, birds of prey, and various other animals.
