I have a blue staffordshire bull terrier myself. I don't know when they where first bred both i was told that when you keep breding black staffordshire bull terriers over & over again and only with blacks eventually you get blue staffordshire bull terrier.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers can come in a range of colours and markings. According to the official Kennel Club Breed Standard, Staffordshire Bull Terriers should be:''Red, fawn, white, black or blue, or any one of these colours with white. Any shade of brindle or any shade of brindle with white. Black and tan or liver colour highly undesirable.'' Black and brindle Dogs are the most common colours.
Another black nosed Pitbull.
You are right to think that if your Staffy has a solid black saddle that it may be a mixed breed as this marking is not seen in pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terriers. There are many breeds that have black saddles, including Beagles, Jack Russells, Fox Terriers, German Shepherds and so many more. It would be impossible for me to identify what breed your Staffy is crossed with without first seeing a picture though.
yes
Well, I'm referring to all terriers. But when you say silky they are brown and black most of the time. Most rarely they are white. Silky terriers are mixed in with a hint of Dachshunds, Cairn terriers, and Yorkshire terriers.
That is something for which there are no specifics.
Black
That is the breed that has many colors and traits. White, Black, red, tan and blue are the predominant colors but it also comes with mix colors like black and white, blue and white, and red and white. In those colors we have the bridle colors like black brindle and red brindle. There are more colors available.
I am not saying that a pitbull can't be black and tan but I never seen these color in a pitbull. I have seen tan dogs or black dogs. What I have seen is bullies that are tan and black. If you want a real pitbull, go for the body characteristics instead of the color.
Scottish Terrier Cairn Terriers are just different coloured versions of Westies, Westies were singularly bred from Cairns for their colour so that they could be seen easily on the moors, and you can get very near black Cairns.
they are black & white
