it dont matter to smoe but if you fed some really wild meat eatin animals you might get a bad reaction.

No you shouldn't. This can make them dependent on humans for food and they may teach that to their offspring. Lets say you see a raccoon in your backyard. You give it dog food everyday because you think its cute. That raccoon will come back later for some more food. If you keep on doing this, it will probably begin to try to get into your house to see what other Delicious treats your household has to offer. Raccoons are dangerous regardless of size. They can and will kill small pets. In general, bad things will happen to the wild animal and you if you feed them.

If you see an injured or sick wild animal and you're temped to feed it, don't. Call animal control. They will get it good again and release it back into the wild.

No. Feeding wild raccoons can cause them to lose their fear of humans (if they have a fear of humans) and that can be very dangerous. Feeding them can also cause them to think that all humans are going to feed them. If someone else comes along and does not feed the raccoon when it thinks they should feed it or if you decide to stop feeding the raccoon, it could become aggressive because it has learned to depend on you for food.

That depends on the age. New born kits need to be fed about 6 times per day. Adults I have held are fed twice per day - once in the morning and once in the evening.

No, one should never feed any wild animal. They should be forced to fend for themselves so they do not become habituated to humans feeding them. That can cause them to become a pest.

Is it ok to feed the gray fox?

No, it is never wise to feed a wild animal. They are quite capable of finding their own food. To feed them would make them imprinted on humans as a source of food and they might lose their natural hunting ability and they would become pests. In many areas it is illegal to feed wild animals.

There are really no wild kittens other that ones that are like lions. But if you want to feed a alley cat you should put some food on the ground and the walk a little but away. You should not try to pet it because it could be very sick, or meen, or even have rabies.

Is it legal to own a wild fox in Ontario Canada?

A wild fox, by definition, is not owned (it is wild) - in the same context of being a dog owner. Therefore, unless the fox is on the protected species list in Canada, I see no legal reason why you can't keep (look after) a wild fox.
