Guinea pigs generally like to nibble at just about everything, but if you see them eating a large amount of hair, this could be the sign of a health problem. My guess would be that if they are consuming a large amount of hair, they might require more fiber in their diet. You should take them to a vet to be certain it isn't a larger problem.
Not really. Guinea pigs arn't like cats on licking themselves. A cat has hairballs because when they lick themselves, hair from their fur gets into their mouths. So, in other words, NO guinea pigs do not lick themselves so they DON"T have hairballs. Although they DO groom themselves on their own so you arn't really supposed to give them a bath. THEY HATE IT WHEN YOU DO.
Guinea pigs do you tales but they are very short and stubby but it is very normal to feel her tail so dont worry :)
No, guinea pigs are born with fur, and their eyes open
as guinea pigs grow older they usually change colours because their skin and fur stretches. it is perfectly normal
Look at the color or pattern on your guinea pigs fur, or see its personality.
