Of course! Most 8 week old animals tend to NOT be potty-trained. What you should do is get them used to a liter box, and potty-train them like a dog. For instance, if your kitty looks like they're about to have an accident, take it to its liter box. But some cats learn to go potty in a liter box their own because of the urine and bowl smells.
