Ray diagrams are drawings that use simple geometry to locate an image formed by a mirror. In order to draw a ray diagram, first sketch the situation; draw the location and arrangement of the mirror and the position of the object with respect to the mirror. Construct the drawing so that the object and the image distances are proportional to their actual size. Then, draw to rays on your diagram. Draw the first ray from the object perpendicular to the mirror's surface. Since it makes and angle of 0 degree with the normal to the mirror, the angle of reflection also equals 0 degree, causing the ray to reflect back on itself.

Draw the second ray from the object to the mirror, but this time place the ray at an angle that is not perpendicular to the surface of the mirror. Then draw the reflected ray. Next, trace both reflected rays back to the point from which they appear to have originated, which is behind the mirror. Use dotted lines to draw the rays to distinguish them from the actual rays of light. By continuing this process for all other parts of the object, you will be able to locate the complete virtual images for the object.

To find images (which includes diagrams) on the Internet, enter specific search terms in Google. For example, if you wanted a diagram of a Nokia Phone, you would type diagram+Nokia Phone+model+what you want to know (Nokia Phone+Model number [put number here]+camera. Note you might have to look through many images OR use the minus sign in a search to exclude what you do not want.

What is the Molecular orbital theory diagram for co?

The molecular orbital diagram for CO shows the formation of sigma and pi bonding orbitals. The diagram would illustrate the mixing of carbon's 2s and 2p orbitals with oxygen's 2s and 2p orbitals to form molecular orbitals. The diagram would also show the bond order and relative energies of the bonding and antibonding orbitals in CO.

Which diagram most accurately shows the blocks of ice as they would actually float on water?

The diagram that shows the ice floating with about 90% of its volume submerged in the water would be the most accurate representation. This is because ice has a lower density than water, causing it to float with a small portion above the surface and the majority below the waterline following Archimedes' principle.

What kind of graph would you use to make a map of the earth's layers?

A diagram called a cross-section diagram or a block diagram is commonly used to represent the layers of the Earth. This type of diagram shows the Earth's interior layers in a vertical perspective, allowing for easy visualization of the different depths and compositions of each layer.
