I have called several different places about liability insurance for a pit bull and they have both said the same thing. If the dog is under 70 pounds and has a no biting record then the rate would be $420 for 6 months and $577.50 for the whole year. In both cases you have to paqy that money up front in order to get the insurance. The names of the insurance companies are Ohio Insurance Exchange and All Seasons Insurance.

The answer depends upon a number of factors. These include the State in which you are located, the insurer, whether there is a "bite" history, and whether you are speaking of primary insurance or coverage under an excess or "umbrella" policy. Given the amount of insurance that you mention, it sounds if you are referring to an umbrella policy. This would sit atop your primary homeowner's coverage.
