∙ 13y agoit depends. a lot. horses are very expensive to keep and buy. a good horse can range from more or less $800 to $10,000. but be carefull when purchasing.
for the supplies you will have to pay for
vet care
farrier care
bridals
saddles and pads
grooming supplies
halters
lead lines
hay
supplements
grain
leather soap and oil for tack cleaning
cleaning and mucking equipment
and much more. you should look at a catalogue such as Horse.com and statelinetack.com you also need to have a place to keep your horse and someone to take care of it when your not there. horses are a lot of work and dont buy one if your not experienced.
