the average weight of a Arabian is just under 1000 pounds, standing about 14.3 hands on average.

Arabians measure from 14.2 to 15 hands so they would range around 800 to lower 1000's. (From my mind)

All horses should never carry anymore than 20% of their own bodyweight, this includes the rider's weight and the tack/gear all added together. So for example a 1,000 pound horse should carry a maximum of 200 pounds.

I would guess around 900-1000 pounds. They are generally smaller than quarter horses, who average around 1100-1200 pounds.

The weight of a yearling Arabian will depend on it's over all build and activity level. So long as you can easily feel the horses ribs, but not see them they are a healthy weight.
