This really depends on your own preference and whether there is a medical reason to bathe your poodle more frequently. As a rule of thumb, if your poodle smells he/she will definitely need a bath. :-)
I have two poodles and my youngest needs a bath every 3-4 weeks because he has Allergies which irritate his skin and causes him to have a strong doggy smell. However, my oldest dog doesn't need bathing as frequently, I usually bathe him every 6-10 weeks depending on when he needs a hair cut or more frequently if he smells.
