Usually you will want to feed a young puppy at least twice a day. Some people will give a small amount three times a day if they are very young. Once they are older they can switch to once a day feedings. It's easier on their digestive system to get the food in smaller doses when they are young.

I believe that it says the amount they have to eat on the bag.but dont overfeed him or offer treats between meals
