Acording to the Janiva Conventions whale endangerment code of conduct, the average whale (or porpus) kills an average of 22 people, and sinks 3 oil tanks in its life time. there are more whales on the earth then people. there are aproximitly 300,000,000 whales on just the Florda coast alone. last year killer whales attact an entire country in Africa, they killed and slauterd more then 90% of there populaltion, only using there bare flippers.
Eleven countries hunt whales. Most (not Japan or Norway) only allow hunting by native populations.
Here are the average numbers of whales allowed each year:
That's about 7400 whales a year, (not counting the coastal dolphins of Japan) or about 20 a day.
See the link below.
The numbers vary year by year. It is estimated between 500-1000 whales annually. The main reason for fluctuation is because Japan is main killer of Minke Whales and a organisation called Sea Shepherd disrupts the Japanese Whaling hunt and reduces there kills from 50% to 90%.
Only the killer whale is recognized as a killer. Hwever, whales have been know to accidentally and also intentionally ram boats, whihc in some case has resulted in death.
The killer whale has attacked humans in the wild but no deaths are recorded. The only killer whale attacks on humans that resulted in death was by those in captivity.
None. Whaling humpback whales is banned.
Man has severely affected humpback whale populations by killing them for years. By the 19th century, many nations (USA in particular), were hunting the animal heavily in the Atlantic Ocean, and to a lesser extent in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. This widespread hunting sharply reduced whale populations.
It is estimated that during the 20th century, at least 200,000 humpbacks were taken, reducing the global population by over 90%, with North Atlantic populations estimated to have dropped to as low as 700 individuals. To prevent extinction, the International Whaling Commission banned commercial humpback whaling in 1966. By that time the population had been reduced to around 5,000. That ban is still in force

The Humpback Whale is not in California. It is in the Pacific Ocean near California. The Humpback Whales migrate every year up and down the coast of California, down to Hawaii. There are also Humpback Whales in the Atlantic Ocean and in the Pacific Ocean surrounding the NW, W, SW, S, and SE coasts. It all depends on the time of year as to where the Humpback Whales will be as well as where they have grown up and lived their whole life.
baby humpback whales are 2 1/2 tons when they are born
There are about 250 million humpback whales left in Canada. Don't worry about them, they are fine. Ha ha you can just lie on this site. Of course there are no 250 million whales left. That is ridiculous
Humpback whales have many diverse adaptations. They have flukes which are tail fins that propel them faster. This is especially important to the whales during migration. They also have throat grooves which help them filter water away from their prey.
Over 400 different whales are hunted each year due to whaling.
Over 1000 whales in Antarctica, get killed each year.
How many teeth? None. Humpbacks are baleen whales.
The humpback, minke, sei, southern, right and blue fin whales all live in Antarctica. Many of these whales are endangered or on the brink of extinction.
