Survive? Are you saying that you wouldn't get your dog medical treatment for a broken leg if it will live? That's animal cruelty under the basis of neglect. If an animal has a broken limb it needs to be seen by a vet immedietly for treatment as it is very painful, can become infected and if left untreated will becoming crippling.
You should be almost back to normal in about six weeks if you take care of it
1 week
im not sure but most horses are put down after a broken leg as it costs a lot to get it healed!
it depends on how bad of a break it is, and if the wing needs to be "set" if the break is too bad, it may never heal properly, even if seen by a vet.
my dog recently dislocated and chiped a bone on his front paw .. i took him to the vet , the vet said it will take 3 to 4 weeks to heal .. the vet also popped it back into place and now he has a cast so in the time frame the leg should heal hopefully .........
You need to take it to your vet, as it will NOT heal on it's own
you shouldn't try and break your leg it would be horribly painful and would take weeks to heal.
The medical cost for a broken leg can run as high as $1,000. A broken leg can take six to eight weeks to fully heal.
The dog has a chance of surviving. but you should take it to the vet so that the vet can put something in his leg so that it can heal better.
A child's leg will heal faster. They are young, still growing and their body can easily replace damaged cells and fight infection. An older person has a slower system and though their leg may heal, the risk for infection is greater as well as the longer period of time for the leg to heal.
If a spiders leg comes off it will heal and grow a new leg.
To heal a broken leg you want to make sure that you go see a doctor. They will need to put a cast on it and in some cases, surgery might even be necessary to help it heal.
